Retail/Merchandise : Warehouse Operations
Warehouse Workers - Legends Hospitality at US Airways Center (Phoenix, AZ)

Job title:              Warehouse Worker, US Airways Center

                               

Reports to:         Warehouse Supervisor

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Assists the Warehouse Manager in delivering product orders to the retail stands.  Helps Retail Lead maintain adequate inventory levels and performs assigned tasks to help maintain operational standards of the concession operation. Must maintain a clean and organized work area in the warehouse.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.        Reports for scheduled work, is at main warehouse in a timely manner and is in complete uniform with clothing and personal appearance neat and clean.

2.        Must maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times.

3.        Follows Warehouse Supervisors assignments for delivering all products throughout the arena in a timely manner.

4.       Presents a cooperative work attitude and cheerfully accepts job responsibilities.

5.        Delivers stock to all retail areas.

6.       Reports all needed stand repairs to the Warehouse Supervisor.

7.        Empties trash containers into receptacles and delivers trash to appropriate dumpsters.

8.       Uses all safety equipment provided.  Uses safe lifting techniques.

9.       Shows flexibility in rotating assignments.

10.     Performs and completes other tasks as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

·         No experience necessary; orientation and on-the-job training provided.

·         Must be pleasant, courteous, and enjoy working with people.

·         Must be able to work with others as a team.

·         Able to read, understand, and follow written directives and product orders.

·         Must be able to remain calm under stressful situations.

·         Must be able to smile, maintain positive body language, and consistently provide positive guest service.

·         Must be able to make generalizations, evaluations, and decisions without immediate supervision.

·         Must be able to accept and carry out responsibility for directions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

·         Must be at least 18 years old

·         Must be willing to work hours that vary, according to the event schedule

·         Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

·         Must be able to lift and to carry up to 50 lbs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Constant walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching.  Must be able to lift/move 150 lbs.

Reports to:         Retail Lead

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Under the direction of the Retail Lead, is responsible for counting inventory, facing, selling, and serving retail items in a courteous, friendly, and efficient manner.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Reports for scheduled work in a timely manner and is in complete uniform, with a neat and clean personal appearance. 
  2. Must maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times.
  3. Work in assigned area of operation as needed (team store, cashiers, kiosk, portables and customer service).
  4. Ensure all cash handling procedures are in effect at all times, have working knowledge of POS. 
  5. Implement Legends customer service program to ensure excellent customer service.
  6. Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.
  7. Totals and assembles guest’s order, receives payment, and makes required change, counting back change to guest.
  8. Uses Point of Sale equipment correctly and accurately.
  9. Ends transactions in a positive way, such as “Thank You” or “Enjoy the Game/Event.”
  10. Maintains high standards of friendly guest service.
  11. Shows flexibility by rotating to other service locations when necessary. Must be able to work cashier or floor whenever needed.
  12. Keeps work area and equipment neat and clean.
  13. At closing, works with other store/stand personnel to properly clean and organize stock for next event.
  14. Performs and completes other tasks as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

·         Must be pleasant, courteous and enjoy working with people.
