Merchandise Sales Associate

Summary of Team Member Daily Duties:
• Provide an exciting, positive, and fun environment for our diverse team & fan base
• Greet guests & ascertain their interest, so you may make sales recommendations
• Excellent accuracy when using POS systems
• Demonstrate ownership in cleaning, re-stocking, & any other tasks assigned by supervisor
• Present merchandise to increase sale with add on items
• Must be able to describe merchandise features, benefits, and explain use
• Keep current on promotions & sales in store: and events at the speedway
• Maintain inventory, merchandise placement, and accurate counts.  Assist in inventory
• Continually increase knowledge of product, facility, and all events held at IMS
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Must be able to read & implement plan-o-grams
• Assist the Gift Shop set-up team with the merchandising of event gift shops including plan-o-grams, merchandise placement, inventory control, cleaning of shops & fixtures
• Merchandising skills a plus

Job Requirements:

• Honesty and integrity in all actions and language
• Must be able to take constructive feedback &make necessary changes
• Excellent customer service and selling skills
• Be willing to work extended hours on event days
• Must be able to work weekends & overtime as needed
• High school graduate, GED, or equivalent experience in comparable company
• Accuracy in open & close procedures
• Able to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
• Innovative & self- starter, who can work independently and as part of a team
• 35-40+ hours weekly
• Flexibility in Duties & responsibilities as needed in other areas

• Deliver merchandise to shops
• Assist with counting and stocking new merchandise
• Assist with other day to day operations
• Must become familiar with inventory location and sku system
• Ability to maneuver on ladders and stairs loading and unloading
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jack, 2 wheel and 4 wheel carts
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Warehouse Manager

Retail/Merchandise : Retail Sales Associate
Retail Sales Associate - Legends- First Energy Stadium (Cleveland, OH)

As directed by the location Supervisor or Store Manager, responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
 

Primary Responsibilities:

Stands & Stores

•Cleaning and Organizing- Assist as directed by the Supervisor or Store Manager in ensuring the location is cleaned and organized

Stock

•Assist as directed by the Supervisor or Store Manager in ensuring the location is fully stocked for all events
Setup 

•Assist as directed by the Supervisor or Store Manager in ensuring the location is fully setup prior to the start of an event
Cash Handling

•Location Bank- Pick up the location’s bank prior to an event and drop it off to the money room at the end of an event if required
•Accuracy- Ensure bank amount is correct before leaving the bank room. If incorrect see bank room employees immediately to correct the problem
Sales

•Accurately ring-in sales in a timely manner at the location on the Point of Sale terminal
Customer Service/Quality Control

•Uphold yourself and others to the standards and policies required by Legends Hospitality
•Be proactive when greeting guests and providing help to all customers
 
Qualifications:

•All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
•Experience preferred
•Able to move fast and act on assigned duties
•Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
•Must be able to work fluently in English
•Must be flexible to work all First Energy Stadium events including late nights, weekends and holidays.
•Energetic, self motivated, warm and friendly personality and excellent guest services skills are required
•Maintaining a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times
•Must be able to work in a fast paced and continuously changing environment
•Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred

Compensation:

Retail/Merchandise : Retail Store Management
Pro Shop Supervisor - Legends- First Energy Stadium (Cleveland, OH)

The Store Supervisor will report directly to the General Manger while working closely with the other Customer Service Supervisors.  The store supervisor is expected to be the role model of excellence for all other staff throughout the stadium. In addition it will be necessary to be very knowledgeable about the stadium and services in order to assist any and all guests.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Primary responsibilities:

·        Manage daily and game day operations of the Pro Shop.

·        Assist with stadium retail managerial procedures.

·        Visual Merchandising of the Pro Shop and other locations at FirstEnergy Stadium.

·        Be an aid for certain functions of Training Camp and other events held by the Cleveland Browns. 

·        Schedule, supervise & lead a staff of up to 25 people.

·        Complete nightly reports and communicate daily business to upper management.

·        Assist with identifying problematic issues and concerns.

·       Learn and train others to effectively produce customized jerseys.

·        Maximize both employee and customer satisfaction.

·        Assist with check-in/check-out procedure as necessary.

·        Effectively manage cash handling.

·        Communicate and collaborate with warehouse to ensure proper stocking levels.

·        Achieve sales and productivity goals.

·        Prepare Pro Shop for game day operations.

·        Work collectively with other supervisors to achieve goals.

Requirements:

·        All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

  • 2-3 years retail experience.
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Highly motivated with a pleasant and upbeat, and creative attitude.
  • Visual Merchandising experience a plus.
  • Ability to multi task in a fast paced team setting in addition to work independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and strong attention to detail. 
  • Comfortable with operating Microsoft Office.
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be available to work all FirstEnergy Stadium events including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to work fluently in English and bi-lingua skill are a plus.

·        Ability to walk around for 7 to 12 hours and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.


Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.  Some college preferred

Compensation:

  • Seasonal, part-time, non exempt
  • Internship credit available upon request
